Umaabot sa 105 kasapi ng Philippine National­ Police (PNP) ang kinumpirmang positibo sa ­paggamit ng iligal na droga sapul nang simulan ang kampanya kontra droga ng administrasyon­ ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.

Ayon kay Sr. Supt. Fausto Manzanila Jr., executive­ officer ng Directorate for Investigation­ and Detective Management, mula Enero hanggang­ October 4, 2016, umaabot sa 150,160 PNP personnel­ mula sa iba’t ibang police stations sa bansa­ ang ­sumailalim na sa random drug testing.

“Of these, 161 were confirmed positive for the presence of dangerous drugs and 105 of those were recorded from July 1 to date,” pahayag ng opisyal sa isang press conference.

Ang nasabing bilang ng mga nagpositibo sa iligal­ na droga ay nahaharap na sa kasong admi­nistratibo.
