Umabot sa 199 checkpoints ang inilatag ng pinagsanib na puwersa ng Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3)at Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) sa buong Central Luzon na kinabibilangan ng Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac, Bataan, Nueva Ecija, Aurora at Zambales kaugnay ng deklarasyon ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ng state of lawless violence na may kaugnayan sa Davao City explosions noong nakaraang linggo.

Ayon kay PRO3 Director P/Chief Supt. Aaron N. Aquino, pinaigting nila ang simultaneous checkpoints sa buong Gitnang Luzon at nagsimula ito noong nakaraang Martes ng gabi. Kabilang dito ang intensified police interdiction ope­rations at maximum police visibility sa mga pangunahing lansangan para matiyak na hindi makakakilos ang masasamang elemento sa posibleng planong pananabotahe sa gobyerno.

“I have directed our provincial and city directors as well as chiefs of police to supervise checkpoints and deployment of patrols in areas of public convergence and vital installations. Also, the entire Central Luzon Police Force is placed in full alert status and all leaves of police personnel are cancelled at this time,” ayon pa sa nasabing opisyal.
