“The SBP is happy to announce that the schedule for the much-awaited 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup is already out,” dugtong niya. “After discussion between FIBA and the host countries namely Philippines, Japan and Indonesia, it was finalized that after a 15-month qualifying period, the best 32 teams in the world will compete from August 25 to September 10.”

“This is certainly positive news as it is something to look forward to amidst the difficult situation that the entire world is facing right now. Rest assured, your SBP officials will work hand in hand even with the limitations of the time to guarantee that our co-hosting of the tournament will be something that Filipino basketball fans will remember and will be proud of,” wakas na litanya ng opisyal.
