Off-the-bench lang si Misagh Bahadoran, pero siya ang bumira ng marginal goal sa 65th minute sa confidence-building 1-0 upset ng Philippine Azkals sa Kyrgyzstan nu’ng Miyerkules ng gabi sa international friendly sa Rizal Memorial Football Stadium.

Bahagi ito sa paghahasa ng Azkals para sa nalalapit na AFF Suzuki Cup.

Bubuksan ng Azkals ang Suzuki Cup campaign kontra Singapore sa Nov. 19 sa Philippine Sports Stadium sa Bulacan, positibo ang home squad na pampalakas-loob ang tagumpay sa 99th-ranked Central Asians makalipas ang mga 1-3 setbacks sa previous friendlies sa nagdaang buwan laban sa Bahrain at North Korea.

“Certainly we were playing better than the past two friendlies, not just because of the result but because of how the players moved on the pitch,” komento ni Azkals manager Dan Palami.

“I think we’re really­ peaking at the right time and by the 19th we should be ready for the first game. It’s a work in progress but I like the way we’re headed,” panapos niya.
