ILOILO CITY — Pormal na bubuksan ang Visayas Leg ng 2019 Philippine Sports Commission-Batang Pinoy ngayong hapon.

Tinatayang nasa 2,824 athletes mula sa 67 local government units sa buong Visayas region ang inaasahang makikipagtagisan ng galing para sa 1,260 medalyang nakataya.

“The city and province of Iloilo have been wanting to host the Batang Pinoy and we are glad it’s finally happening here,” saad ni Iloilo City Youth and Sports Development Office Head Moises Salomon Jr.

May tig 420 gold, silver at bronze medals ang iuuwi ng mga atleta sa 20 sports na lalaruan.
