“The discussion of the meeting as is it ongoing is also to ensure that all regulations are enforced properly and we continue to develop and rehabilitate our Island into a model of sustainable tourism destination,” saad ni DOT Undersecretary Edwin Enrile.

“So since we re-open last October 26 to March 24 this year, we only recorded the departure one month after re-open, we see that the average number of arrivals is lower than the average number of departures. Meaning, if there are 5,500 arriving this morning, the same number is actually leaving the Island. So if you look at it, it’s like a steady stream coming in and going out of the Island. So nasa 6,000 mark tayo and yet our carrying capacity is 19,000,” saad pa ni Enrile. (Jobelle Macayan)
