Ibabandera ng Philippine Superliga si Rachel Anne Daquis ng Cignal sa AVC Asian Women’s Club Championship sa Oskemen, Kazakhstan sa May 23-30.

Umayaw ang Foton, Rebisco-PSL Manila na ang dadalhin ng team.

Inihayag ni PSL president Ramon Suzara ang bubuo ng squad kahapon sa press launch sa Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum sa Golden Phoenix Hotel.

Nais ng Rebisco-PSL Manila squad na makakuha ng experience sa kanilang sasalihan para paghandaan ang AVC Asian Senior Women’s Championship at 29th Southeast Asian Games sa August.

Makakasama ni Daquis sina Mika Reyes, Kim Fajardo, Jaja Santiago, Frances Molina at Jovelyn Gonzaga kasama rin sina Aiza Maizo-Pontillas, Maika Ortiz, Denise Lazaro at Rhea Dimaculangan.

“This team is expected to play at a high level,” saad ni Suzara. “This is the first time for us to compete in the AVC Asian club with an all-Filipino lineup because we want to give these players, who are all national pool members, a chance to gain experience against eight of the best club teams in Asia.”
