“The action of NTC violates due process in the sense that ABS-CBN were not informed of a proceeding to be able to explain why no action should be taken against them,” ayon kay Ako Bicol party-list Rep. Alfredo Garbin Jr.

Aniya, nag-isyu ng cease and desist order ang NTC na wala man lang abiso at hindi rin nagsagawa muna ng pagdinig.

“While it’s internal rules allows NTC to issue CDO Motu Propio it should be grounded on public service, welfare and security. It is unfortunate that the CDO was directed against an entity who’s doing public service in this time of pandemic and public health emergency,” ayon kay Garbin.

“It definitely does not serve public interest as this divert and distract our focus against our fight to a common enemy,” dagdag ni Garbin. (Eralyn Prado)
