Sinuspinde ng apat na buwan ng Malacañang si ­Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) chairman ­Jose Vicente Salazar dahilan sa insubordination.

Inihayag ni Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Assistant Secretary Marie Banaag ang suspensyon ni Salazar sa briefing sa Malacañang kahapon.

“The Office of the Executive Secretary, in his decision dated August 2, 2017, finds Energy Regulatory Commission Chairman and CEO Jose Vicente Salazar guilty of insubordination. Thus, Mr. Salazar is meted­ out the penalty of suspension for a period of four months without pay,” ayon kay Banaag.

Nilinaw ni Banaag na ang preventive suspension ni Salazar noong Mayo ay iba sa suspension order na inilabas nitong Agosto 2.
