Nanawagan sina Gabriela Reps. Emmi de Jesus at Arlene Brosas kay Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo na tiyaking agarang makakalaya sina ACT Teachers Rep. France ­Castro at dating Bayan Muna Rep. Satur Ocampo.

Mahalaga ring masiguro, ayon sa Gabriela solons, na hindi sasampahan ng gawa-gawang mga kaso sina Castro at Ocampo.
“We challenge Speaker Arroyo to stand by the rights of all House members who wish to go to anywhere in the country, especially in areas where citizens need their attention and presence. Speaker Arroyo should tell the police and military to respect the rule of law, and the rights of legislators and the public, especially in Martial Law-infested Mindanao,” pahayag ng dalawang kinatawan ng Gabriela.

Kasama nina Rep. Castro at Ocampo ang 72 iba pa sa pagkakaloob ng humanitarian support sa mga estud­yante at guro ng mga Lumad school sa Talaingod, Davao del Norte nang i-harass diumano ng paramilitary group na Alamara at mga miyembro ng 56th Infantry Battalion (IB) ng Philippine Army.
