“DLSU alumna and Philippine Olympian Ian Lariba was recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), her family announced on May 29. She will undergo treatment this week,” opisyal na pahayag ng Lariba family.
“Those who are interested to offer financial assistance may send their donations through Mrs. Imelda N. Lariba.”
Nakaratay ang 23-anyos na dalaga sa St. Luke’s Medical Center sa Quezon City at mino-monitor na ni Philippine Sports Commission Chairman Butch Ramirez at Philippine Olympic Committee Vice-President Jose Romasanta.
“We’re closely monitoring her situation,” ani Ramirez sa pamamagitan ni PSC Chief of Staff Ronnel Abrenica. “Olympian natin siya and we need to give her the full support she needed.”
