Malaki ang tiwala ni coach Norman Black na maiiba na ang resulta ng third installment ng Meralco-Ginebra finals saga ngayon.

“We have a diffe­rent team,” giit ni Black sa prefinals press conference sa Sambokojin Restaurant sa Libis nitong Sabado. “We are probably more ba­lanced this year, a little bit stronger.”

Iba na ang lineup ni Black mula sa teams niya noong 2016 at 2017 nang sipain sila ng Gin Kings sa kampeonato ng parehong torneo.

May posteng Raymond Almazan na sa gitna ang Bolts. Nadagdagan pa ang lalim ng bench ng team kina Allein Maliksi, John Pinto, Bong Quinto at Raymar Jose. May pang-ayuda na kina Allen Durham, Baser Amer at Chris Newsome.

“We have a bigger guy in the paint in (Raymond) Almazan,” punto ni Black. “We have new additions who helped us a lot this conference. And of course, we have AD who’s been really our rock so far this conference.”

Si Almazan, gigil nang makipagbanggaan kina Japeth Aguilar at Greg Slaughter.

“Gusto ko ‘yun, kasi talagang mga big men ‘yun, eh,” anang 6-foot-8 slotman.

Noong 2016 tumikim ng kampeonato si Almazan habang nasa Rain or Shine pa. (VE)
