Arestado ang isang janitor nang maaktuhang bumabatak ng shabu sa loob ng kanyang pinagtatrabahuhang Japanese restaurant kahapon ng madaling-araw sa Malate, Maynila.
Nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa Section 11 at 12 ng Article II ng Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 ang suspek na si Erold John Garcia, 23, residente ng Tramo Street, Pasay City.
Ayon sa imbestigasyon ng Manila Police District –Police Station 9, dakong alas-2:30 ng madaling-araw nang maaresto ang suspek ni Angelito Palatao, bouncer at security ng Yakitori Dori Bar na matatagpuan sa M.H. del Pilar Street sa Malate.
Nagsasagawa umano ng kanyang daily routine si Palatao sa loob ng naturang establisimyento nang maaktuhan ang suspek na bumabatak ng shabu dahilan upang agad itong arestuhin at itinurn-over sa pulisya.
Nakuha mula sa suspek ang isang plastic sachet ng shabu, aluminum foil at lighter.
