Nagbigay pugay sa mga frontliner na nangunguna sa pagpuksa sa coronavirus disease 2019 ang alumnae ng De La Salle University Lady Spikers na kumakampanya sa University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) .
Sa isang video na pinagsama-sama ni 2008-09 UAAP Season 71 Most Valuable Player Manilla Santos-Ng, nagpakita ng pagsuporta ang mga former Lady Spiker ng Taft-based squad.
“We, the Lady Spikers, are once again united to aim our arrows in unity to fight this pandemic,” ayon sa statement ng mga voll. “As one team, we fully support all our frontliners who are fighting the battle for all of us.”
Nanguna sa video tribute si Santos-Ng at mga former MVP na sina Iris Ortega-Patrona (Season 62), Desiree Hernandez (66 at 68), Aby Marano ( 74-75), Ara Galang (75) at Majoy Baron (79).
Kasama rin sanga sumasaludo sina Finals MVPs Michele Gumabao (Season 75), Kim Dy (78), Des Cheng (79), at Dawn Macandili (80); Rookies of the Year Joanne Siy (Season 72) at Melissa Gohing (71); Season 62 Best Spiker Ivy Remulla; Best Setters Chie Saet (Seasons 67068) at Kim Fajardo (76, 78, at 79); at three-time Best Libero at Season 67 Best Digger Sher Penano.
Hindi rin nagpahuli sina Michelle Datuin, Michelle Madarang, Soleil Yap, Kim Lee, Vanessa Yance, Sally Macasaet, Demelle Chua, Kat Gumabao, Miakka Lim, Paneng Mercado, Cyd Demecillo, May Luna, Gyra Barroga, Arriane Layug, Mika Reyes at Camille at Cienne Cruz.
