Hindi umano karapat-dapat na magiging pinuno ng Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) ang sinibak na Commissioner ng Bureau of Customs (BOC) na si Isidro Lapeña.

Ito ang binigyang-diin ng opposition solon na si Albay Rep. Edcel Lagman.

“The TESDA does not deserve Lapeña…You know the record of Lapeña in the Customs. Why recycle him to an agency that is concerned with education, or particularly technical education?” komento ni Lagman.

Matatandaan na pinalitan si Lapeña ni da­ting Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) chief at Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) administrator Rey Leonardo Guerrero matapos umalingasaw ang diumano’y nakalusot na shipment ng shabu sa Customs.
