Sa kabila ng ipinapamalas na talento at dedikasyon ng bagong K-pop singer na si Lee Chaeryeong, hindi siya nakaligtas sa ilang personal attack na pangba-bash. Si Lee ay isa sa limang miyembro ng bagong South Korean girl group na ITZY.
Kahit kade-debut pa lang ng ITZY noong February 12 with their song na “Dalla Dalla” ay marami na silang accomplishment. Isa na rito ang pagiging fastest ever music show win for a girl group. Nanalo sila sa M! Countdown in just nine days.

May kanya-kanya talagang perception pagdating sa physical beauty ng isang tao. Instead na bigyan ng pansin ay ang talent at effort na ibinibigay ni Chaeryeong sa grupo nila, nakatatanggap pa ito ng mga pangba-bash. May mga hindi magagandang comment na kesyo hindi raw ito maganda.
Obviously, hindi man nagsasalita si Chaeryeong, mukhang apektado ito. Umeksena rin ang mommy niya at may personal na kahilingan.
“It’s very easy for you to say hurtful things about Chaeryeong. She is a kid that just debuted, she is a person I treasure more than anyone. Even if you guys don’t find her pretty, you don’t have to leave hurtful comments on every article and video without hesitation.
“If she did anything that is bad then it’s fair to judge her. However, all you guys are doing is pointing at the appearance of a 19-year-old girl. Everyone has their own charms and everyone has their own preferences. It’s so sad and hurtful to see my innocent and precious daughter get scolded for her appearance.
“Chaeryeong is a kind and well-mannered child. Please look after her, you don’t have to be nice to her but please don’t be hurtful. Please.”
Si Lee Chaeryeong ay kapatid ni Lee Chaeyoung. Si Chaeyoung naman ang isa sa miyembro ng first Japanese/Korean girl group na “IZ*ONE. Pareho ang dalawa na bata pa lamang ay nagti-training na sa JYP Entertainment.
