Nag-sorry si Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Secretary Teodoro ‘Teddyboy’ Locsin Jr. sa ginawa nitong pambabastos kay Vice President Leni Robredo na nag-ugat sa isyu ng pagkansela sa lahat ng courtesy diplomatic passport ng mga dating opisyal ng gobyerno.
Ito’y matapos ang nangyari kay dating Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert del Rosario na hinarang at pinigilan ng mga awtoridad sa Hong Kong International Airport sa kabila ng courtesy diplomatic passport nito bilang da-ting kalihim ng DFA.
Sa kanyang Twitter account, humingi ng paumanhin si Locsin kay Robredo.
“I don’t mean to be disrespectful Ma’am. You are just a missing heartbeat away from the Presidency. I respect you for that accident of fortune. But there are things that require a measure of study and thought. Please ask me next time. At your service, Ma’am,” ayon kay Locsin.
“That’s no way for a gentleman to speak to a lady. Apologies,” dagdag pa ng kalihim.
