Pormalidad na lang ayon kay House Minority Leader at Quezon Rep. Danilo Suarez ang idaraos na joint session ng dalawang kapulungan ng Kongreso sa Miyerkoles, Disyembre 12, ngayong taon.

Inihayag ni Suarez na sinusuportahan nito ang kahilingan ng militar at pulisya dahil ang mga ito ang nakakaalam ng tunay na sitwasyon.

“We’ve seen no shooting, but it does not mean that Mindanao is safe from the recurrence of ­terrorism similar of that Marawi crisis. The police and military analyze and understand the situation and let’s give that (Martial Law extension) option to them. I urge my colleagues to adhere to their request,” ani Suarez sa isang panayam.
