Produce 48 pa lang, ang Japanese Idol na si Miyawaki Sakura na ang masasabing pinaka-popular among the trainees at expected na rin na makasama bilang isa sa 12 members ng IZ*ONE.
Ang IZ*ONE ang kauna-unahang Japanese-Korean girl group na nag-debut sa South Korea at gayundin sa Japan.
Among the 12 members, masuwerte si Miyawaki dahil kasama na siya bilang isa sa regular cast ng show ng Olive’s “Everyone’s Kitchen” na ang concept ng show ay social dining. Dito pa lang ay lamang na lamang na si Miyawaki among other members.
Pinangungunahan ng veteran variety star na si Kang Ho Dong ang “Everyone’s Kitchen,” kasama rin ang actress na si Lee Chung Ah at ZE:A’s Kwanghee.
Sa ginanap na press conference for the show, natanong si Miyawaki kung sino ang mga gusto nitong ma-meet na South Korean stars sa show. Sey niya, “I like Do Min Joon (Kim Soo Hyun’s character in “My Love from the Star”) and I also want to see Lee Seung Gi.”
Among the show’s regular, si Miyawaki lang ang hindi Korean at aminadong hindi fluent sa language. Inamin naman nito na kabado siya nang malaman na makakasama siya sa show dahil hindi siya Korean.
Aniya, “I was worried because I’m not at speaking Korean. My Korean isn’t great, but I want to improve through the program. I want to make many Korean friends through my improvement. I like cooking, so I didn’t need to practice separately, but definitely did so before filming.
“All of the cast members are like my family now.
“I’m having a lof of fun filming.”
Ipinaliwanag naman ng chief producer ng show na si Park Shang Hyuk kung paano nakasama sa cast si Miyawaki.
“I told Kang Ho Dong that we are going to do the show with a foreigner, but that I didn’t think we could because she couldn’t speak Korean. But he was in favor of it and said that he would use a mobile translating app. It’s a show where we speak to strangers, so we decided to have her on board with the thought of taking on this adventure together.
“We met three weeks later and I was so surprised, she had improved a lot within three weeks.”
