Kasabay ng pagkondena sa terorismo sa Marawi City na inihasik ng Maute Group, pinasalamatan ni Vice President Leni Robredo ang national security forces sa pagtatanggol sa bansa laban sa mga terorista.
Bago sinimulan ni Robredo ang kanyang talumpati sa Champions for Health Governance Awards sa Bayleaf Hotel sa Intramuros, Manila ay sinabi ni Robredo na galing ito sa security briefing sa Camp Aguinaldo ukol sa Marawi clash.
“I was in touch with them (Armed Forces of the Philippines) since last night for updates, and this morning they assured us that the situation is under control and that the threat is isolated in Marawi City,” ani Robredo.
“On this occasion, we would like to thank our uniformed personnel for bravely performing their duty in this time of need,” ayon pa sa Bise Presidente kasabay ng pagkondena sa terorismong inihasik ng Maute Group.
