Tinutukoy ni NCRPO chief Director Guillermo Eleazar ang Article VI, Section 11 ng 1987 Constitution na nagsasaad na “A Senator of Member of the House of Representatives shall, in all offenses punishable by not more than six years imprisonment, be privileged from arrest while the Congress is in session.”

“If the Senator wishes to turn himself to us, then we will get him from the Senate,” dagdag pa ng NCRPO chief.
