“I am told they want it in October to pave the way for no elections in May 2019 as well as term extensions for all incumbents. If this is true, we will oppose such a proposal,” pahayag ni Pangilinan.

“I am not aware of any move to rail road Charter change. If there is any, I will not support it as I believe constitutional amendment cannot be rushed. Hope we all learn from our history,” giit naman ni Villanueva.

“I’m not inclined to support yet another postponement of the barangay elections especially if the sole purpose is to accommodate a plebiscite for Charter change,” saad ni Lacson.

“From the debates on the last postponement of the barangay elections, it seemed many senators were quite resolute that it would be the last as far as the senate was concerned. Any subsequent postponement would entail some change of heart of sorts,” paliwanag ni Angara.

“Malabo. I would be the first to know if that will happen. Filing na sa October ng candidacy,” giit ni Senate Majority Leader Vicente ‘Tito’ Sotto III.

“Never heard of that plan,” pahayag ni Senate Presidente Aquilino ‘Koko’ Pimentel III.
