Hindi magpapatinag sa mga kritiko ang gobyernong Duterte at sa halip ay ipagpapatuloy nito ang mga ipinangako sa sambayanang Pilipino na na­ging dahilan ng pagkapanalo sa nakalipas na halalan.

Sinabi ni Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Secretary Martin Andanar sa panayam, na maraming problema ang bansa pero nireresolba ng Pangulo dahil bahagi ito ng sinumpaang tungkulin.

Sa panig naman aniya ng PCO ay puspusan ang kanilang pagtatrabaho.

“Basta we just focus on the three main platforms of our President, iyan yung: peace and order, roadmap to peace at poverty alleviation. We just focus, we always go back to the three main reasons that made the President won the presidency,” paliwanag ng kalihim.

Kumpiyansa ang gobyernong Duterte na malalagpasan ang paninirang inaabot dahil sa suporta ng nagluklok sa Pangulo.

“You know, we have the support of 91% of the Filipinos. So, there is really nothing to worry about, lahat naman na nangyayari na kaguluhan, these are perceptions, these are media stories especially coming from the international scene and that is why sinasabi ho natin na we encourage the media overseas to come to the Philippines and really find out the lives of the Filipinos and the true prospective, the real context of our policies and our programs,” ani Anda­nar.
