Ilulunsad ng Philippine Basketball Association ang Alagang PBA blood donation project ngayong Linggo, Oct. 2, sa Big Dome.
“Blood has really no substitute. A lot of people need blood transfusions everyday, but sometimes the hospitals’ supply do not match the need for it,” ani PBA commissioner Chito Narvasa. “We hope to somehow, through this activity, help in answering that need.”
Isasagawa ang proyekto sa pakikipagtulungan ng Dugong Alay, Dugong Buhay Foundation, Smart Araneta Coliseum, Anako, Gardenia, Crystal Clear, Cherifer, Made in Candy at Pic Poc.
Aasistehan ng players at league staff ang doctors at nurses ng St. Luke’s Medical Center, Chinese General Hospital at Philippine Orthopedic Center na magsasagawa ng procedure mula 3-6 p.m.
“This is a truly meaningful undertaking and I’m encouraging our fans to join us in this project,” wika naman ni PBA Board chairman Robert Non.
