Ping: Mayabang na Dasma Village resident i-deport

Pinasisiyasat ni Senador Panfilo `Ping’Lacson sa Burau of Immigration (BI) kung puwedeng ipa-deport ang diumano’y mayabang na dayuhan na nanermon sa isang pulis sa Dasmarinas Village, Makati City.

“They should act swiftly and decisively,” sabi ni Lacson sa isang pahayag nito.

“Arrogance has no place in our country – especially so in a situation where either all of us win, or all of us lose to the COVID-19 threat,” dagdag ng senador.

Sa naturang video, makikita kung paano nakipag-usap sa pulis ang dayuhang si Javier Parra habang pinapakalma ng kanyang asawa.

Sabi ni Parra sa video, hindi dapat sa private village magsaway ang mga pulis at pumunta na lang ito sa ibang lugar kagaya ng Tondo.

Dinuro rin ni Parra ang mga pulis at pilit na pinalalayas sa harap ng kanyang tahanan.

Ayon kay Lacson, dating Philippine National Police chief, tungkulin ng mga pulis na magtupad ng rules and regulations ng enhanced community quarantine na walang takot at pagpabor.

“For the most part, our policemen deserve kudos for doing their jobs. Such is the case of police officers who arrested a foreigner in Makati City after he challenged their authority with an arrogant and demeaning behavior,” sabi ni Lacson.

Paliwanag nito, kahit na sinabi ng dayuhan na investor siya sa bansa na may 80 empleyado, wala aniya itong karapatan na komprontahin at sabunin ang isang police officer na tumutupad lang sa kanyang tungkulin.

“Being an `investor with 80 employees’ as he claimed does not give the foreigner the right to confront and incessantly berate a police officer who is merely performing a risky duty in the manner that he did,” ayon kay Lacson. (Dindo Matining)
