Buking ang isang pulis makaraang mabidyuhan na pasimuno ng tupadahan sa Antipolo City.
Ito ay matapos makakuha ng video ang tanggapan ng Philippine National Police – Internal Affairs Service (PNP-IAS) na kuha pa noong Oktubre 4 sa Blue Mountain Sports Arena sa Marcos Highway sa Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Antipolo City kung saan bidang-bida si Police Lt. Lutgardo Labares na may hawak na manok na ilalaban sa derby.
Ayon kay Insp. General ng PNP-IAS na si Atty. Alfegar Triambulo, posibleng masibak sa puwesto si Labares na nakadestino sa Southern Police District dahil sa insidente.
Hindi rin nagustuhan ni PNP officer-in-charge chief Lt. Gen. Archie Gamboa ang nakita sa video na nangunguna pa si Labares sa sabong kung saan mahigpit na ipinagbabawal sa mga pulis na makita sa sugalan at inuman.
“I would like to reiterate the series of directives and guidance that I personally issued directly to unit directors… No engagement or unauthorized presence in places of ill-repute, gambling joints, casinos, cockpits, public drinking places or those places analogous to this, unless authorized to conduct law enforcement function,” ayon kay Gamboa.
