WALEY: Ang sabi ng blogsite na theguard1an.com, “Mr. C has died at 62.”

Naganap ito habang nagtetextan kami ng anak ni Mr. C o Maestro Ryan Cayabyab na si Krina na na-inspire gumawa ng acapella version ng Till I Met You theme song with her group Baihana.

Sinundan pa ng mga detalyeng nagsabing, “One of the top musicians in (the) Philippines, Mr. C, real name Ryan Cayabyab has today been pronounced dead after being rushed to a hospital in Manila when he was found unconscious in a hotel room where he rested after a concert last night.

“A Facebook user broke the sad news which has got the entire Filipino music industry in a shock as to what could have caused the death of such a talented and an energetic man who have sold the Philippines to the world through music.

“Management and family of Ryan Cayabyab are yet to make an official public announcement.”

Nag-viral ito. Kumalat sa Facebook.

Pati ang isang kilalang celebrity stylist, nag-share nito.

Malumanay na sabi ni Krina, “What??? Ngayon lang po ‘yan? Ba’t wala na talagang magawa tao. Grrrrrr!”

Pagkatapos, heto ang ipinost ni Krina sa social media, “Please do not post and share news such as these without verification. My father is all well and kicking.”

Ilang araw bago pa nito, nabahala na ang mga kaibigan ni Mr. C dahil may lumitaw na impostor niya sa social media.

Pati siya ay nagtataka.

Ang sabi ng Maestro, “All I know is that in that fan page last week (na nagpakilalang ako), maraming nagagalit sa posts niya and the fb denizens assumed and believed it was I who had posted those (whatever they are).

“May mga nag-report sa FB and consequently he changed his name but continued to use my fotos.

“And then changed that clone name last Saturday that succeeded in sending out friend requests to all my FB friends.

“Of course a lot of them PMd me… I was in the middle of rehearsals for Ogie’s show.

“Many of my friends reported this FB site and it was promptly gone within the hour that it commenced posting.

“And then this… ahehehe. I would rather feel amused… of course mainstream media won’t bother with that. They know better.”

As of this writing, ‘yung community page na pinanggalingan ng balita still exists.

Theory is, ginagamit ang name ni Mr. C to generate alingasngas, hence, more ‘traffic’ to the page.

Possible, the one who made the community page is helping promote the satire page. Hindi nakakatuwa ang news niya, pero maraming ganyang mga fake news about celebrities all over. Tama ‘yung isang nag-comment sa kabilang thread, clickbait. Pero ingat ingat na rin po.

Sabi ni Mr. C, “It might be possible that because he was rebuked and forced to close 1. the fan site and 2. the clone site that is why he ‘killed’ me.

“That’s my theory lang. Meron ding katakot factor… Baka lang may ting-aling.”

Very musically put. Very Mr. C pa rin!

Aabangan siya sa Pinoy BoyBand Superstar where she is one of the celebrity judges.

Pero meron kaming mas aabangan sa ating Pambansang Krung Krung.

Balita nami’y nagtagpo na sila sa wakas ng Thai Superstar na crush niya na si Mario Maurer.

Did sparks fly katulad ng Mario-Kakai? I wonder!

WEHHHHH: Happy birthday sa ating West End Diva na si Rachelle Ann Go today!

I know that major things are happening to her career kahit hindi na siya kasali sa Divas concert this November sa Araneta Coliseum.

Basta, in both your career and lovelife, I know that, with God’s grace, there’s no way but up, Shin!
