Walang takutan, walang brasuhan.
“If the selection of Mislatel is in accordance with established rules, guidelines, and existing laws, there is no need to worry about any legal impediment. Worries over possible injunctions will only cast doubt on the legitimacy of the selection process of the third telco player,” pahayag ni Alejano.
“Officials of the Executive Branch should stop threatening the courts from carrying out their independent mandate. This could force them to be blind towards clear legal violations. On top of everything, this attitude of the Executive undermines the constitutional principle of the separation of powers of the three branches of government and the longstanding tradition of checks and balances,” pagpupunto ni Alejano.
“Welcoming Chinese companies in the third telco selection has been questionable from the start considering that we have standing conflict with China regarding the West Philippine Sea. China is a primary threat to our national security. Allowing them a chance to control an infrastructure as critical as telecommunications is tantamount to capitulation to China. We are opening ourselves up to sabotage and cyber manipulation of China,” ayon pa kay Alejano. (Aries Cano)
