Umabante sa Kamara ang panukala na nagsusulong para lalo pang palakasin ang national performing arts.

Nakapaloob ito sa House Bill 7785 na iniakda ni Samar Rep. Edgar Mary Sarmiento.

Target ng panukala na bumuo ng framework para sa National Performing Arts Companies na kinabibilangan ng sumusunod na mga genre: National Ballet/Contemporary Dance Company; National Theater Company; National Orchestra; National Choral Company; at National String Ensemble.

“Pursuant to Article II, Sections 17 and 23, and Article 14, Sections 15, 16 and 18 (2) of the Constitution, it is the policy of the State to appropriately recognize, designate and support non-governmental organizations that have demonstrated pioneering, consistent, and unassailable competence, effectiveness and success in the development, training, documentation and performance of ballet and contemporary dance, orchestral music, chorale music and theater,” ayon sa panukala.
