Swimming venue pang-Guinness

“I will not touch much on the technical side of the sports of swimming but on the ability of your country to put up a good competition venue with your New Aquatics Center,” sabi ni Ibrahim. “I was surprised when I visited it yesterday and I can say it is one of the best in SEA Games.”

“It would probably be the best in the Philippines, being the latest to be built, but I can say it is among the best with its latest technology and others. I really admire the work done in the last one year and three month. Your country should be put in the Guinness Book of World Records for building in the fastest time a swimming pool.”

Mangha rin si Valson Cuddikotta, ang technical delegate sa athletics, sa world class track and field oval na pinaliwanag niyang makakapasa para makakuha ng sertipikasyon na makapagsagawa ng World Athletics Championships.

“I only see mountains there when I came two years ago. But now, I see a world class athletics venue,” ni Cuddikotta. “The venue has come out so well and could get a Class 1 Certification with its six lane practice track, separate long throwing area and eight lane track oval that was all the requirement,” wakas niya.
