NILINAW ng GMA Films President na si Ms. Annette Gozon sa Instagram ang bali-bali­tang walang balak ang Kapuso Network na gawan ng sariling proyekto ang loveteam nina Alden Richards at Maine Mendoza.

“Just so the speculations don’t become blown out of proportion, here is the truth: we would want nothing more than to show an AlDub soap opera in primetime.

“That is our priority and that is what we have been continuously working on since July.

“However, please understand also that this will be the first soap ope­ra of Alden and Maine and they deserve a well thought of and well-craf­ted soap opera that is not rushed and done hapha­zardly.

“Hopefully, one of the concepts will be approved soon by both the management team of Alden and of course, Maine’s management team.

“In the meantime, if Alden has separate assignments from Maine, it does not mean that these assignments will contradict the AlDub love team.

“I would also suppose that the same is true for Maine’s endeavors even if these do not include Alden.

“There is no intent on the part of GMA to pair Alden with another girl aside from Maine.

“So instead of fighting and arguing amongst ourselves, let us unite and support AlDub and pray for all their upcoming projects together whether­ it be a soap opera, a mo­vie or any project that will come their way,” pahayag ng lady executive.

Ang nasabing awitin ay komposisyon ni Agat­ Obar-Morallos na siya ring sumulat sa kanta ni Alden na Wish I May pati na ang theme song na Maybe It’s You na ginamit sa Koreanove­lang My Name is Kim Sam Soon.

Malapit nang i-release ang bagong album ni Alden under GMA Records.
