Ayon kay Season 79 president Fr. Ermito De Sagun ng host UST, malaking hamon para sa mga alumni at atleta na maging modelo sa fans.
“So many people are watching sports and supposedly they (athletes) are heroes,” ani Fr. De Sagun. “We expect that all the players, all the athletes will behave properly in a way they can really inspire people.”

Ikinasa na ng host university ang simpleng opening ceremony sa Setyembre 3 sa UST grounds.
Handa nang sumagupa ang Ateneo Blue Eagles, De La Salle Green Archers, Far Eastern U Tamaraws, National U Bulldogs, University of the East Warriors, University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons, Adamson University Falcons at UST Growling Tigers.
Nasa final year na niya sa La Salle si Jeron Teng, kaya asahan ang all-out na laro.
Sina Hubert Cani at Arvin Tolentino, mula Ateneo ay tumawid ng FEU at makakasama sa pagdepensa ng Tamaraws sa korona.
Isa pa sa aabangan ang head-on battle ng magkapatid na Franz at Derrick Pumaren na head coaches ng Falcons at Warriors.
