Nakatanggap ng death threats ang South Korean actor na si Wang Suk Hyun.
Labinlimang taon pa lamang ang actor kaya naman ilan sa mga comment na nabasa namin mula sa mga netizen ay, “what on earth? Why would anyone want to kill a 15 year old kid?!”
It turns out na ang nagpapadala ng death threat sa actor ay mukhang obsessed fan. Na-trace na raw ng agency ni Suk Hyun at ngayo’y nakakulong na ang suspect. Pero ini-assure ng Lionheart Entertainment na doble ang security pa rin na ibibigay nila sa kanilang artist.
Naglabas nga ng official statement ang Lionheart Entertainment. Ayon sa mga ito, “On December 20, Wang Suk Hyun’s school and agency received threatening phone calls from someone who said, “I will kill Wang Suk Hyun.”
“On the same day, his school reported the call to 112 and his agency requested an investigation with the Sungdong Police Station. The police were able to pinpoint the public phone booth the suspect had used, and through cctv footage, they were able to identify the man as one of Wang Suk Hyun’s fans.
“The person was arrested and is currently in jail as the investigation is underway. Wang Suk Hyun is currently limiting his time outside. When he does have to move locations, his manager will be with him at all times to ensure the safety of our artist. We have also contacted a security firm for additional protection.
“Lionheart will work closely with the police to do our best to close the case, and we will do whatever it takes to ensure Wang Suk Hyun’s safety.
“Lionheart will continue to react to unexpected situations and dangers quickly, in order to ensure the safety of our artists as they work.
