Full blast na ang mga aksyon ng 900 female athletes sa 10 sports ngayong alas-10:00 ng umaga sa 4th Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Women’s Martial Arts Festival 2017 sa HP Annex, Harrison Plaza sa Malate.
“This is for you (women). Our government is fully supportive of this exclusive tournament for all our ladies and this is part of the sports program guaranteed to be held yearly being in the General Appropriations Act,” mensahe ni PSC Commissioner Fatima Celia Hicarte Kiram sa opening ceremony kahapon ng umaga.
Kasama ni Kiram sina Commissioners Ramon Fernandez, Arnold Agustin, at Charles Raymond Maxey.
Matapos ang eliminations sa arnis, boxing, fencing, judo, karatedo, muaythai, pencak silat, taekwondo, wrestling, at wushu sa araw na ito, toka ang semis at finals bukas.
